Elizabeth Shultz,
MRC, CRC, CPRW
President, Career Counselor, Vocational Expert
Elizabeth Shultz is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Résumé Writer, and Vocational Expert with over 15 years’ experience in career counseling, conducting assessments, interview coaching, resume writing, business development, employer relations, and providing expert witness testimony.
Mrs. Shultz’s career includes working in both the public and private sectors as well as negotiating and securing state and federal contracts. Additionally, she has successfully created and launched several programs and departments within the career services field. Strengths include business expansion, aiding employers in operationalizing diversity, equity and inclusion and candidate selection. As a career counselor, Mrs. Shultz provides effective job search strategy to clients increasing career satisfaction and maximizing earning potential while building long-lasting relationships. As a vocational expert, Mrs. Shultz relies on her vast experience as a career counselor, job placement professional, and evaluator along with keeping a solid working knowledge of national and local labor trends to make realistic recommendations. She consistently pays close attention to labor market trends, in the local and national markets, their effect on the number of jobs that exist as well as how they are performed along with earnings capacity. As a certified rehabilitation counselor, Mrs. Shultz is familiar with workplace accommodations, employer tolerances, ADA, employment discrimination, the impact of disability (or loss of ability) on employment, and transferrable skills.
Mrs. Shultz has a master’s degree in Education, concentration in Rehabilitation Counseling from Auburn University. She has earned professional certifications from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches as a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW). She is a member of the Vocational Evaluation and Career Assessment Professionals Association and the International Association of Rehabilitation.

Career Coach/Certified Resume Writer
With several years of recruitment experience of a wide range of occupations from entry level to senior leaders and everything in between, Elizabeth is able to understand the challenges and barriers of the hiring process. Through her vast knowledge of working with many different applicant tracking systems and resume databases, she’s able to ensure that each resume, cover letter, and profile is equipped with the right keywords and related accomplishments.
Melinda Worth
Career Coach/Peer Support Specialist
Melinda is working towards a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern KY University, is a certified Peer Support Specialist, and has completed the Supported Employment Training through the Human Development Institute at University of KY.
As a career coach Melinda ensures clients find a good career fit incorporating their unique interests, values, and abilities when guiding clients towards goals. She works with individuals from all walks of life and understands a career is more than just a job. Melinda helps her clients channel their passions into a career improving their overall quality of life. She appreciates that while everyone is truly unique, we all have something in common: the impact of finding the right career is a major source of sense of purpose and drive in people’s lives.
When Melinda is not working, she loves to enjoy the outdoors. She is married and has six children whom she loves to spend time with going camping, hiking, and swimming.
Rebekah Lewis
Administrative Assistant
Rebekah Lewis joined Shultz Career Consulting in 2023 as an administrative assistant. She
has a strong academic background and a passion for helping others. She holds a Bachelor’s
Degree in political science from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s Degree in
international business from Toulouse Business School. Rebekah has also had additional
training through the Kentucky Rehabilitation Association by attending their annual
conference and she participated in webinars focused on providing vocational services to the
blind & hard of hearing community.
Rebekah is dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenging job markets and takes pride
in helping disabled clients achieve their vocational goals. At Shultz Career Consulting, she
contributes by administering career assessments, managing invoicing and documentation,
maintaining relationships with former clients, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Known for her attention to detail, organizational skills, and team-oriented mindset, Rebekah is
always willing to go the extra mile to support her colleagues and clients. Her commitment to
helping others is evident in every aspect of her work.
In her leisure time, Rebekah enjoys reading, knitting, crocheting, playing with her cat Piper,
and watching movies.
